Hydra Zenith

Hydra Zenith UnitThe master unit was developed to perform across ALL camera formats from 35mm film & HD Productions with stabilised heads & submersible housings through to Broadcast & Promo productions with a splash bag.

A unique ratchet system allows for increasing & decreasing of camera height, in the water column or above the waterline.

The universal head plate accepts all types of camera support from pan & tilt heads, bowl & Mitchell mounts or cheese plates.

Carbon fibre fixing tubes on the head plate & floats enable rigging of external monitors, lamps, reflectors or transmission antennas.

A mounting point for compressed air cylinders for operator breathing with scuba or for productions requiring a lens air cleaning system.

The versatility of this unit ensures ease of operation for camera operators & in turn the production.

Hydra Horizon

Hydra Horizon UnitProductions requiring a compact light weight system providing quick & easy deployment. Additional carbon fibre support tubing can be added to raise or alter the lens height into or above the water line.

The Horizon performs the split level shots and depending on the type of bowl or pan & tilt head will provide a lens height above the waterline whilst still operated from above.

It also allows the lens to be tilted down through the waterline to give an underwater view.

A unit with multiple location travel in mind.

The Wet Hire option provides productions a dedicated technician to prepare & manage the unit by aiding the execution of shots, working alongside the productions regular crew camera crew. Our personnel are HSE commercially qualified divers & long term camera operators. We recommend this for maximising the units full potential & time saving.
